Laverne Larson has been in pastoral ministry since 1994, first in the United Methodist Church, and now in the Global Methodist Church. She has served on several mission trips to Uganda, helping to establish annual training conferences for ministry leaders among the rural poor of eastern Uganda. Training now includes a seminary and a college in Mbale. She currently assists her husband, Rev. Ethan Larson, with preaching at Stoddard and New Albin Grace GMC in New Albin, IA., in addition to caring for four of their grandchildren at their home in Onalaska.
